FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ - A new dawn

In 2022, Qatar will be the first Arab country to host a FIFA World Cup. Their journey began in 2010 with an iconic speech of Sheikha Mozah asking the world a simple question: When?

In 2022, the time has finally come for the Arab region to host the world biggest event.
For Qatar, this is a defining moment and our film is the journey of their new dawn.
In our film, a whole country is awakened by a supernatural phenomenon: a powerful emanating light.

From scene to scene, we follow this glow revealing the country in a play of brilliance and shadows, causing storms and raising people’s hopes at the same time, and taking us to where the light was coming from:  The World Cup trophy.

A World Cup is probably the last event of our post TV era, able to gather all eyes looking at the same thing at once.

So, our aim was to use the World Cup “aura” as a metaphor to literally project an honest light on this shady region of the World. Usually rather silent, now is the time for Qatar to step in this spotlight.

Now is their opportunity to have the world see them for what they really are.

Now is all.
